Bellabot Flirts With The Stars At Bolton Food & Drink Festival

The UK’s biggest food and drink festival enjoyed fantastic weather this weekend as Bolton hosted a plethora of celebrity chefs and thousands of people from across the region, for a fun-filled weekend with great food and drink at #BFDF2022.

And look who Bellabot, the robot waiter from Bolton’s TCB Unlimited Dining Experience bumped into at the festival’s opening lunch in the town’s Albert Halls on Friday…

Nonother than Michael Caines, renowned Michelin Star Chef and chef/patron of Lympstone Manor Hotel near Exeter.

Michael was there to open the festival and give a demonstration of his craft but before lunch, Bella was serving drinks as guests arrived and managed to sneak a quick photo with Michael, who was only too happy to stop for a while.

Funnily enough, one of the questions many people ask is whether Bellabot can serve drinks. Well here’s the answer…

Bellabot is one of the robot waiters employed at TCB Unlimited Dining Experience on Bridge Street in Bolton and was supplied by Hutech Robotics Ltd earlier in the year, as part of a package numbering 14 robots employed across the TCB network.

Bella works alongside her human counterparts, supporting the front-of-house teams, doing all the heavy lifting and fetching and carrying in the restaurants and it’s said her colleagues now say they wouldn’t be without her, she does such a great job!

Bella went back to work at TCB later in the afternoon but the festival went on all weekend and saw many household names give demonstrations and shows, including Ainsley Harriott, The Hairy Bikers and James Martin, some coming back as regulars at the festival for many years.

Hutech Robotics Ltd, also based in Bolton, is the main importer and distributor of PuDu’s service delivery robots and would love to talk to any business that would like to know more about the benefits service robots could bring to their operation.
